Job Summary
Delivery driver for McDonald Wholesale in Eugene responsible for delivering and off-loading food and other products to customers on established routes. Safely handle and secure products according to Food Safety and Food Defense programs; operate in various traffic and weather conditions; ensure correct invoicing and proper placement of delivered products in appropriate temperature locations. Comply with all traffic laws, OSHA, Federal Motor Carrier, and D.O.T. safety requirements; complete daily vehicle inspections and perform preventative maintenance. Work effectively as a team with shift supervisor and colleagues, contribute ideas, and be prepared for overtime in accordance with D.O.T. regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License with at least 1-year prior driving experience (preferred)
- Excellent Driving Record
- Lift gate and pallet jack experience (preferred)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - capable of maneuvering up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain positive customer relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
