Job Summary
Deliver and pick up trench-related shoring and plates to and from customer job sites multiple loads per day, operating a truck-mounted crane safely and efficiently. Perform vehicle inspections at shift start and end, maintain accurate electronic HOS logs, and secure loads strictly complying with DOT and company policies. Assemble and disassemble shoring on sites, occasionally load/unload trailers, and assist with yard operations to eliminate hazards. Report all accidents, equipment damage, and delivery problems to branch management while adhering to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing requirements. Maintain current driver and crane credentials, keep the vehicle clean, and ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained.
Required Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver's License issued from the State Department of Motor Vehicles
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR 391.41-391.49
- A minimum of (2) two years of direct experience driving vehicles that require a Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Crane Certification from NCCCO - National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators
- Ability to obtain forklift certification as required
- Must be available to customers' needs, including occasional after-hours emergencies, as needed by the branch from time to time
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of (2) two years of direct experience driving vehicles that require a Class A Commercial Driver's License is preferred
- Crane Certification from NCCCO - National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators preferred
