Job Summary
Drive a 3-Ton straight truck on established routes collecting donated clothing and household items for the National Diabetes Trust; up to 29 hours per week; perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete required paperwork, and log Hours-of-Service. Role emphasizes safety, route mapping, customer interaction, and delivering donated goods to Corporate Partners and storage facilities. Requires Grade 12 or equivalent, a Full Class 5 or higher license, 5 years of driving experience, a clean driving abstract, and ability to read maps. Includes signing bonus eligibility and employer-backed pension plan; in-person work in Dartmouth, NS (Canada).
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Education or equivalent experience
- Must have Full Class 5 and / or G license or higher, passenger car or light truck
- Must have a minimum of 5 years actual driving experience at the above level
- Must have a clean driver abstract, less than 21 days old, with no violations or accidents within the last 3 years
