Job Summary
Operate Class 5 cube and flatdeck trucks to deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites across New Brunswick. Secure loads properly using straps and tie-downs while performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Assist with loading and unloading materials, utilizing forklift skills if available, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs. Provide professional service to contractors and customers while following all provincial and company safety regulations. Home daily with a schedule of Monday–Friday day shifts, 42.5 hours per week, at a rate of $22.00 per hour plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
- Experience operating cube trucks and/or flatdeck trucks
- Strong understanding of load securement practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building materials, construction supply, or similar industry preferred
- Forklift certification considered an asset
