Job Summary
Operate tractor units with Super B tanker configurations safely and efficiently to transport oil and liquid products. Complete daily trip inspections and manage required paperwork accurately. Ensure legal load limits are adhered to and communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel. Requires a valid Class 1 Driver's Licence, TDG certification, and experience with Super B tank trailers. Commitment to safety, reliability, teamwork, and ability to work extended trips is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Current driver's abstract
- Experience operating Super B tank trailers preferred
- Valid TDG certification
- Strong knowledge of safe hauling practices and tanker operation
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
- Ability to work extended trips within Alberta using sleeper equipped trucks
Desired Qualifications
- H2S Alive certification is considered an asset
