Job Summary
Operate vacuum trucks, high-pressure water equipment, and specialty tools while assisting labourers in industrial maintenance and turnaround projects. Safely work at heights up to 100 meters, climb into small vessels and tanks for cleaning, and perform minor equipment checks. Haul hoses, PPE, and tools to job sites, complete required paperwork, and ensure all team members and property remain safe. Leave every site clean, safe, and fully operational. This 6x1 or 12x2 shift role involves 10-12 hour days and nights across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, with overtime eligibility under an 8/44 rule. Candidates receive accommodation and travel support if relocating, with rates starting at $29/hr. CEDA offers shutdown training to build skill sets and acquire industry tickets.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or 3 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
- Must have experience operating a manual transmission
- Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS-09 and OSSA Regional or BSO)
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
