Job Summary
Operate a commercial motor vehicle between pick-up and destination terminals, ensuring trips are run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate records and logs, read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures; follow written and/or oral instructions. Night shift on weekdays is specified; role emphasizes safety, compliance, and logistics responsibilities within Ryder's fleet operations.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma/GED, preferred
- Minimum of 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience, required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement, required
- Must not have more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months, required
