Job Summary
Conduct safe, professional palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres across the UK using curtain-sided vehicles, completing most as backdoor tips. Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries based on customer demand. Report to the Transport team at shift start, communicate delays or load discrepancies promptly, and complete daily vehicle checks while adhering to tachograph rules and the Road Transport Directive. Manage working time and ensure all paperwork, including signed PODs, is returned accurately. Maintain high standards of behaviour, appearance, and customer service throughout the shift. This role supports the Weetabix contract with a 24/7 operation involving 3on3off or 4on4off rotating AM/PM shifts including nights, contracted to 33–44 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C+E Licence
- Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards
- Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Directive legislation
- Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly
- Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD or DR code convictions
