Job Summary
Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensuring all company and customer policies and procedures are adhered to. Participate in safety programs, toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and pre/post trips while maintaining up-to-date safety certificate training. Perform maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation, and complete all required paperwork including daily logs and waste manifests. Work in all weather conditions across various customer and worksites, lifting heavy tools and parts as needed. Schedule and workload may vary depending on emergency situations and busy periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driver abstract
- Capable to operate Tri - Axle units and Super B trucks
- Ability to lift heavy tools and parts
- Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
- Follow all local, provincial and federal compliance regulations and rules
- Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date
- Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years' experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling)
