Job Summary
Deliver loads of feed as assigned by the dispatcher while providing quality customer service in line with company standards. Perform daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections, reporting maintenance concerns to the Transportation Supervisor. Maintain the logbook, keep the tractor/trailer unit clean and organized inside and out regardless of weather, and complete all paperwork according to business requirements. Work flexible rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, operating in extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius. Home every day with competitive hourly pay up to $24.50 and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a defined contribution pension plan.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Favorable Driver's Abstract
- At least 1 year behind the wheel with a Class 1 license
- 3–5 years of truck/trailer experience
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must meet the security criteria designated for the position
- Operating in extreme temperatures ranging from +40 to -40 degrees Celsius
