Class 1 Driver/Recovery Technician

Job Summary
Operate hybrid units, straight trucks, and bulk tankers to collect used oil, filters, plastics, and provide part washer services across the designated province. Deliver exceptional on-site service to customers while completing paperwork in accordance with GFL and TDG regulations. Maintain all transport equipment through regular cleaning and maintenance, adhering to safety programs and schedules. Requires a Class 1 Driver's License, ability to work independently, and physical capacity for heavy manual labor including moving heavy drums. Candidates must possess TDG knowledge, a customer-oriented attitude, and experience in safety-sensitive environments. Overnight trips up to three days may be required. Valid work authorization is mandatory; visa sponsorship is not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Class 1 Driver's License (or provincial equivalent) with a clean driver abstract
- Ability to work independently
- Physically able to perform heavy manual labor, including moving and handling heavy drums
- Customer oriented
- TDG knowledge and experience
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
- Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
- Ability to work out of town and overnight trips up to three days at a time
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
