Job Summary
Clamp Truck Operator responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting roll stock to the corrugator, reading corrugator lineups to support production, ensuring correct size and grade rolls are supplied to the wet end, and maintaining an organized roll room. Responsibilities include safety and GMP adherence, completing lift inspections, documenting damages, maintaining accurate roll stock records, marking butt rolls with specifications, and supporting continuous improvement while meeting daily production schedules and cost goals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6+ months of experience in a corrugator wet end environment preferred
- Previous experience operating industrial power trucks or heavy equipment
- Ability to read production specifications (size, grade, layout)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (Outlook, touchscreens, printers)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
