Claims Specialist, Pollution Environmental Claims

Review, process, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle assigned property damage, bodily injury, pollution, and environmental claims up to $150,000 authority. Conduct coverage analysis and necessary investigations via phone or independent adjusters to determine coverage, liability, and damages. Resolve coverage disputes with insureds and agents while preparing coverage opinion letters. Evaluate and settle severe GL and complex claims within granted authority or seek additional authority for excess claims. Prepare coverage opinion letters and manage litigation across multiple jurisdictions. Requires 7-10 years of complex pollution environmental claim experience, multi-state and litigation background, and ability to work independently. Some travel required for mediations and settlement conferences.
