Job Summary
Oversee New York Workers' Compensation claims from intake through resolution and assist with Commercial Auto claims. Serve as primary liaison between insureds, carriers, brokers, and defense counsel; review claims for compensability, reserves, settlements, and overall strategy; monitor activity, hearing outcomes, and Board decisions; ensure compliance with NY WCB requirements; coordinate return-to-work/light-duty programs; conduct claim reviews and assist with settlement evaluations; support Commercial Auto claims as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Adjuster License
- Minimum 2 years of New York Workers' Compensation adjusting experience
- Strong knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation law, Board procedures, litigation, and settlements
- Experience managing claims through resolution, including complex and litigated files
