Conduct claim investigations by talking directly with customers who have experienced a loss, inspecting damage, and reviewing documentation to ensure accurate and fair recording. Determine coverage, liability, and reserves while reporting on each settlement, acting as an effective negotiator with individuals, attorneys, and other insurance carriers. Prepare and maintain well-written files and keep teams updated on current claims. This role requires strong oral and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and excellent time management. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with up to two days per week remote work after training, a 36.25-hour weekly schedule, and a salary range of $49,010 to $51,008 annually.
