Job Summary
Claims Service Manager responsible for facilitating the claims process for commercial and personal clients in an independent agency setting. Serves as the primary liaison among insured clients, insurance carriers, and claims adjusters to ensure timely reporting, documentation, follow-up, and resolution. Manages claim status, documentation, reserves, and updates, supports claim-related questions and advocacy, maintains accurate claim records in the agency management system, reviews submissions for completeness, and facilitates resolution of property, casualty, liability, auto, and other P&C claims. Collaborates with internal account management and service teams to ensure compliance with agency procedures and carrier requirements. Hybrid work arrangement with three days in office and two days remote.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of property and casualty insurance claims experience
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license
- Experience working with insurance carriers, claims adjusters, and insured clients
- Experience handling or supporting commercial lines and/or personal lines claims
- Ability to document claim activity and maintain organized claim files
- Proficiency with insurance agency management systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office
