Job Summary
Manage workers' compensation claims from input to resolution, coordinating with medical providers and employees for return-to-work programs while maintaining accurate confidential files. Conduct workplace safety inspections, audit procedures, and investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to ensure OSHA and regulatory compliance. Assist in developing safety programs, facilitating training, and tracking metrics to recommend corrective actions. Serve as Co-Chair of the Safety Committee and maintain first aid supplies and PPE inventory. Support audit preparations and analyze claims trends for leadership reporting. Requires bilingual proficiency, 2+ years in claims or safety, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and occasional travel within the North Denver area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation claims coordination, risk management, or workplace safety
- Knowledge of workers' compensation laws, OSHA regulations, and safety best practices
- Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills
- Bilingual
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Capable of working well with cross-functional teams in a dynamic setting to achieve company goals
- Works well in high pressure situations to meet company deadlines
- Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality
- Must have a flexible schedule that may require occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be flexible to reassignment within the North Denver area
- Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
- Must be able to work with exposure to dust and food allergens
- Must be able to lift 10 -20 pounds frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
