Job Summary
Entry-level Claims Representative trainee in a 4-week training program located in Rancho Cordova, CA. Responsibilities include attending designated training, adjusting various levels of workers’ compensation claims under supervision, processing mail and documents, communicating with injured workers, employers, medical providers, attorneys, and carriers via telephonic/video/email, thoroughly investigating claims with medical records, employer reports, and witness statements, determining coverage and benefits per jurisdictional guidelines, documenting claim activity, preparing detailed reports, administering indemnity and medical benefits, and participating in training sessions, claim reviews, and related meetings.
