Claims Representative

Job Summary
Initiate processing of new claims, investigate and review pending claims, and handle outreach via calls and emails to beneficiaries regarding outstanding requirements. Recognize potential issues with claims and refer questionable claims to the Escalation Team, Team Lead, or Manager. Aid in administering the company's fraud prevention plan to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Prepare correspondence to policyholders and agents, taking initiative to determine solutions and efficiencies. Work with agents, agency personnel, claimants, beneficiaries, physicians, medical institutions, and attorneys to provide claim information.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of work experience
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems with minimal assistance required
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communications
