Job Summary
Claims Payment Processor position at Excela Protect requiring hands-on processing of payments tied to insurance/claims workflows. Responsibilities include reviewing invoices, auditing claims in the claims system, and issuing payments to repair facilities and vendors, while delivering high-quality customer service to policyholders and dealers. The role supports claim adjusters, handles inquiries about claim or payment status, and requires a high school diploma/GED with approximately two years of related experience. The job is onsite from 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, in North Charleston, SC, and offers benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid vacation/holidays, and paid training. Required Qualifications
- Experience reviewing invoices and audits against claims system and providing payments to repair facilities and vendors.
- Previous experience assisting customers by providing the highest level of service when inquiring about the status of a claim or payment status.
- Track record of reviewing claims and providing overall support of claim adjusters.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to handle customers in difficult situations.
