Job Summary
Oversee daily claims and mailroom workflow, assign work and priorities to meet service levels, provide subject-matter support for complex claims questions and escalations, track and report operational metrics (quality, timeliness, productivity, inventory), lead quality activities to ensure compliant processing, partner with IT/finance/operations on change requests and improvements, maintain procedures and training materials, and contribute to onboarding and team development in a hybrid on-site role at Indianapolis. Demonstrated ability to supervise claims processing and quality control, with strong analytical, coaching, and communication skills; proficiency with claims platforms and Excel is expected. The role emphasizes operational excellence, collaboration across functions, and ongoing process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of claims processing experience
- Experience with claims platforms, Microsoft Excel, and operational dashboards
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team
- Proficiency with claim forms, benefits, coordination of benefits, adjustments, reprocessing, and quality control practices
