Job Summary
As a Claims Officer for the NSW Department of Education, you will administer workers compensation leave and payments through the payroll system, provide compassionate case management to injured employees, and manage a portfolio of low-risk workplace injury claims to ensure timely, compliant outcomes. You will apply knowledge of workers compensation legislation, maintain accurate data across electronic systems, and communicate clearly to support recovery-at-work plans while helping the department meet obligations and maintain a safe, supportive workplace. The role includes working in a temporary, full-time capacity based in Parramatta with flexible arrangements.
Required Qualifications
