Job Summary
Monitor online claims systems and review monthly loss runs, trends, and problematic claims to provide management oversight of Third Party Administrators' Workers' Compensation personnel. Deliver superior claim services to internal and external partners by participating in reviews with insureds, brokers, and claim administrators while interfacing with underwriters regarding claim status and risk factors. Prepare internal management reports for claims with net exposure exceeding $250,000, maintain state adjuster licenses as directed, and contribute to special projects. This role supports Starr's global leadership in commercial insurance by managing risk and driving profitable growth for organizations worldwide.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years handling oversight of Workers' Compensation Claims
- College degree
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Must be self-motivated and a team player
- Must be pro-active
- Must maintain and/or obtain any state adjuster licenses as directed by management
