Job Summary
Lead the Care First Healthcare (Accident Benefits) claims team in Alberta, combining disability/case management expertise with a customer-centric approach. Responsible for technical leadership, performance management, and professional development of the Alberta Care Specialists; build and implement claims management processes to support return-to-function and timely claim resolution; collaborate with brokers, insureds, vendors, and legal representatives; contribute to training content and cross-functional initiatives; operate within a hybrid work model with focus on data-driven decision making and strategic leadership to elevate claim outcomes. Requires strong leadership, data analytics capabilities, excellent communication, and the ability to guide teams through complex claims priorities while fostering a supportive, inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in coaching/development of peers
- Disability or Case Management experience preferred
- Accident Benefits experience preferred
- Strong data analytics skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
