Job Summary
Check coverage against contractual metrics, validate calculations, and authorize payments for single losses within agreed authority levels. Process run-off losses, manage treaty and facultative claims via B2B workflow tools, and reconcile bordereaux for agents and brokers. Review policy documents to clear aged accounts, rebook technical items for settlement, and monitor forecast plausibility with underwriters. Post special reserves, contingent commissions, and late adjustments while preparing monthly reconciliation reports. Ensure system interfaces remain high quality and adhere to global processes.
Required Qualifications
- University or College
- Basic knowledge of (re)insurance
- Ongoing upgrading of PC Skills and Accounting knowledge
- 2 years of accounting experience
- Aptitude for figures and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Effectively work in a team environment and on an individual basis
- Proficiency in Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications
- Working knowledge of SAP desired
