Job Summary
As a Claims Handler, manage new and existing Structural Warranty claims while acting as the main point of contact for policyholders. Responsibilities include assessing claims, ensuring fair outcomes, handling inbound calls, and collaborating with internal teams and external parties. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in claims handling, a strong customer-focused approach, and the ability to make independent decisions. The role requires a commitment to regulatory compliance and continuous improvement of claims processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience handling insurance claims
- Working knowledge of FCA regulations
- Strong investigation, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident decision-maker
- Organised and detail-focused
- Collaborative team player
- Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with insurance claims systems and processes
- Experience within construction, property or latent defects claims
- Insurance-related qualifications such as CII
