Job Summary
Claims Handler for Commercial & Schemes responsible for handling a portfolio of motor and non-motor commercial claims from start to finish, evaluating policies, coverage types, and procedures; coordinating with internal teams and external vendors; analyzing claims data to identify trends and reduce risk; presenting KPI-focused reports; conducting on-site visits to clients in the event of loss; negotiating with insurers to secure favorable settlements; and building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and industry partners. Requires strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and regulatory frameworks, brokerage experience, and excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-focused skills. Hybrid role with 2 days per week in Stourbridge office and 1 day per week in Birmingham office.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) are required for this role
- A level qualification is desirable
- Possession of CII; CILA certifications is considered an asset
