Job Summary

Conduct investigations into suspected insurance fraud involving complex schemes, multi-claim patterns, and organized activity; perform field activities, conduct interviews, gather evidence, and deliver clear, objective, and fact-based investigative reports; supervise vendor resources (surveillance, scene investigations, and specialized tasks), maintain organized case files, analyze evidence for misrepresentation or network-linked fraud, and escalate cases as needed while ensuring compliance with SIU regulatory requirements and privacy laws. The role may support California and travel insurance investigations, involves travel for interviews and field investigations, and offers a blend of remote and in-person collaboration within a flexible hybrid model.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 or more years of experience in Technical Claims Investigations, Law Enforcement, or Insurance Special Investigations OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice (Associate Degree) and 4 or more years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in Technical Claims Investigations, Law Enforcement, or Insurance Special Investigations AND Knowledge of claims processes and relevant fraud related regulations OR Proficiency in Microsoft Office
