Job Summary
The Claims Examiner adjudicates assigned 1st Party Property claims, reviews coverage, conducts in-depth investigations to determine applicability, manages smaller business income losses and restoration periods, documents files in compliance with policies, assesses reserves, drafts coverage and denial letters, and negotiates settlements while driving best practices to control expenses. The role emphasizes strong customer service, fraud detection, and collaboration on claims projects within a hybrid US office setup.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of 1st Party Commercial claims handling experience
- Advanced knowledge of claims analysis and adjusting practices
- Active insurance adjuster’s license preferred
- B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University preferred
