Job Summary
Claims Examiner handles complex Property and Casualty claims in Honolulu, including structural property damage, auto liability, casualty, and workers’ compensation; reviews policy language, estimates, and supporting materials to determine coverage and settlement exposure; coordinates with TPAs, independent adjusters, vendors, and consultants; negotiates settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties; maintains detailed documentation and ensures regulatory compliance; requires 2+ years of P&C claims experience and proficiency in Xactimate, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace; hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 remote) after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Property and Casualty claims handling experience
- Experience handling property damage, structural, casualty, auto, or workers’ compensation-related claims
- Experience coordinating with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), independent adjusters, vendors, or outside consultants
- Experience evaluating policy coverage, damages, and settlement exposure
- Proficiency with Xactimate estimating software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to review claim documentation, estimates, and supporting reports for accuracy and coverage determination
