Job Summary
Evaluate claims for benefit eligibility by reviewing contractual terms with medical and functional information, documenting analyses per policies, and adhering to client service standards. Manage an active caseload, communicate with stakeholders about claim status and reasoning, and support process improvements. Bring knowledge of insurance practices, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills to a collaborative, hybrid-work environment across Toronto, Waterloo, or Montreal. The role requires post-secondary education or equivalent experience with a focus on claims practices, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office; prior claims experience is preferred. The position is contract-based for 18 months with a base salary range of $55,000–$65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
