Job Summary
The Claims Customer Support Representative provides front-line support to claim adjusters and managers by collecting, entering, and dispersing claims-related information; handles inquiries about claim status via phone, fax, or email; performs data entry into the claims system at initial loss; completes tasks assigned by adjusters and managers in a timely, professional manner; and may travel occasionally. Requires an associate’s degree or commensurate experience, is a bilingual-possible role, and emphasizes strong phone/typing skills and solid computer proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or commensurate experience required
- Minimum of two years experience working in a customer service role required
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Strong telephone and typing skills required
- Intermediate computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, Internet, email) required
