Job Summary
The Complex Claims Consultant role involves independently managing a portfolio of 35-45 high-value, underwritten TPD life insurance claims with accuracy and empathy. You will apply knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act to navigate complex arrangements, collaborate with technical experts and business partners to support sound decision-making, and contribute to embedding best practice within a newly established specialist team. You will engage confidently with claimants, legal, trustees, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a professional approach to complex cases. A background in life insurance claims management across Group or Retail is relevant, with strong technical expertise in complex TPD claims and a solid understanding of insurance frameworks. Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills
- experience in life insurance claims management (Group or Retail)
- strong knowledge of complex TPD claims
