Job Summary
Claims Consultant on the Employer Services team will obtain claims status updates from carrier partners, provide suggestions and recommendations to adjusters, assist with claim resolutions, and develop claims-management strategies while documenting activity. The role includes training, public speaking, and prospecting, and requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build relationships with clients and peers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of claims experience including strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills with high sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, management and peers
- Proficiency in MS office applications
