Job Summary
Answer incoming calls, provide guidance on coverage options, and collect loss details for insureds. Determine the cause of loss, set up rentals or tows, and share next steps for all inquiries. Counsel clients on reporting options and identify scenarios requiring further investigation or escalation. Offer feedback to leadership on process efficiencies to enhance the client experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential for servicing anglophone and francophone clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingualism in English and French
- One year of customer service experience
- Sound knowledge of client service principles
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office software, internet and email systems
- Provincial adjuster licenses and/or Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Proficiency in both English and French
Desired Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in Insurance
- Contact centre experience
- Basic understanding of claims concepts and practices for auto and property insurance coverage
