Job Summary
Claims Auto Adjuster - Non-Injury at USAA with hybrid in-office schedule (Phoenix, AZ). Responsibilities include handling the end-to-end auto claims process, investigating liability, evaluating coverage, negotiating and settling moderately complex auto claims, reviewing police and witness statements, and collaborating with internal/external partners to drive timely resolutions. Requires knowledge of auto physical damage, state laws, SIU referrals when appropriate, CAT support and on-call rotations. Must maintain an adjuster license within 90 days and demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; true for active-duty military spouses and adaptable to remote/hybrid flexibility where policy allows.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Progressive experience handling low complexity auto non injury liability claims
- Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and 3 attempts
- Developing knowledge of auto claims contracts and state laws and regulations
- Demonstrated negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
