Job Summary
Claims Associate focused on Workers’ Compensation within a structured development program. Responsibilities include receiving claim assignments, reviewing claim and policy information, interviewing insureds, claimants, witnesses, physicians, attorneys, and other relevant parties to secure necessary claim information; evaluating investigation findings to determine insured liability and company obligation; preparing reports on investigations, settlements, denials, and evaluations; reviewing progress with the Team Leader; identifying and escalating unusual claim exposures; settling claims and arranging releases or drafts; supporting trial preparation with team attorneys; and administering benefits to minimize current and future exposure. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; strong analytical and communication skills; and licensing-exam support (adjuster licensing process) information provided by the employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience a plus
