Job Summary
The Claims Assistant will support the claims staff in managing workers’ compensation claims, including setting up new claims, processing mail and payments, and assisting with communication between claims examiners, providers, and claimants. Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for additional office experience.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Six months of service oriented office experience preferred
