Job Summary

Auto Estimator collects vehicle information from repair shops or customers and completes initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person, may meet insureds to explain coverage and guide them through the claims process, uses automated estimating systems, provides technical support to claim handlers, evaluates vehicle damage and causation, answers inquiries, and may travel to auto shops for in-person inspections. This remote-field role is based in Amarillo, TX, with work-from-home flexibility and a mobile office; candidates may be asked to work outside the territory as needed and to travel for inspections. Requires a valid driver’s license; preferred licensing (Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License), CCC One and/or Mitchell knowledge, and I-CAR Platinum Certification. Required Qualifications

  • Auto insurance appraiser experience
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task across technical platforms

  • Background checks as required by state(s)
  • Licensing exam(s) and applicable licensing requirements
