Job Summary
The Claims Analyst role involves receiving, reviewing, and analyzing insurance claims; ensuring documentation is complete and accurate; investigating coverage, liability, and damages; communicating with policyholders, agents, adjusters, and others; negotiating settlements within authority; maintaining thorough claim records; identifying potential fraud; collaborating with underwriting and legal on complex matters; staying informed on industry regulations and best practices; and preparing claim reports while contributing to processing-improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in claims analysis or a related insurance role
