Job Summary
Claims Advocate focusing on Commercial Property and Inland Marine. You will manage claims, contact customers to set expectations and develop action plans, investigate damages, determine coverage via policy terms, explain coverage to policyholders, and facilitate fair settlements. Requires 2+ years of commercial property claims experience, knowledge of claims processes and policy language, familiarity with Xactimate/XactContents, strong communication and analytical skills, and a Texas adjuster license with ability to obtain others. This remote role supports customers across the US and emphasizes excellent customer service and collaboration across departments.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of claims handling experience with a focus on commercial property claims preferred
- Knowledge of claims processes, policy language, and insurance industry practices highly preferred
- Experience with Xactimate and XactContents software highly preferred
- Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
- Texas adjusters license required and ability to obtain additional states
- Desire and ability to collaborate with many departments and coworkers
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining high client satisfaction
