Job Summary
Claims Advocate responsible for end-to-end claims processing and proactive client communication. Responsibilities include intake and submission of claims (First Notice of Loss), determining the correct policy, coordinating with carriers and adjusters, and providing clients with claim numbers and contact information. Maintain detailed documentation in EPIC, perform coverage reviews and reserves monitoring, prepare claim summaries, and support Account Executives with renewals. You will advise Producers and Account Executives on claims matters such as large accidents, reserves, or death claims, and participate in loss control or safety discussions. Requires strong teamwork, insurance-knowledge, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel. Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate ability to collaborate as a team-oriented individual
- Knowledge of insurance coverages, products, and usages
- Preferred experience in handling claims
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Epic
- Maintain insurance license as required by the appropriate State Department of Insurance and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC
