Claims advisor, P&C insurance

Property and casualty claims advisor role focused on high- and medium-complexity claims. You will conduct investigations and inspections to assess damage, estimate costs and market value, analyze medical, financial and job information to determine benefit eligibility, and settle claims in line with standards and contract terms. You will negotiate settlements with members, clients, third parties, and others, advise and assist clients, and represent Desjardins in important agreements. Strong analytical, decision-making and interpersonal skills are essential to develop solutions and maintain business relationships while delivering timely reports and documentation. Must be able to travel within the Montreal region and handle on-call responsibilities; bilingual communication (French and English) is required, and there is a telework/remote benefits element as part of the broader compensation package.
