Claims Administrator - Hydrovac

Job Summary
Control, track, and manage all internal and external claims regarding field operations, including workers' compensation, general liability, and motor vehicles. Investigate, evaluate, and settle claims to ensure prompt handling while reducing loss ratios. Review claim notices to determine risk and liability, communicate with insurance companies and third-party administrators for resolutions, and schedule post-accident drug tests. Work to reduce employee lost time, avoid fraudulent claims, and schedule appropriate restricted duty work. Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as required, manage claim files to meet standards, and provide accurate reports to the Director of SQT. Develop employee training on compliance safety topics and policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, two to three years of claims experience, and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis on risk management, business, or a related field
- Two to Three (2-3) years in a similar or direct field as a Claims Administrator
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Construction/Utility industry claims experience preferred
- Data Entry experience would be helpful as accuracy is quite important to be successful for this role
- Willingness and ability to learn additional skills
- High levels of Customer Services with Internal and External Customers
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Detailed in your work, and claims research
- Ability to be flexible to fast-paced changing business needs
