Job Summary
Handle claim inquiry calls, open submitted claims, and educate consumers and builders on the claims process. Manage the claims general email inbox and expand the contractor network by vetting and adding new contractors and consultants. Work in partnership with other claims staff in an individual and team-oriented capacity. This entry-level position offers immersion in the New Home Warranty field with opportunities for growth and development. You will obtain a level 1 and 2 general insurance license and report to the Claims Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- A desire to obtain a level 1 and 2 general insurance license
- Proficient technical skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other standard business software.)
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional communication, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and a positive attitude
- The employment offer is contingent upon completion of a successful background check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in New Home Warranty, Insurance and/or Construction would be considered an asset
- Post-Secondary education would be considered an asset
