Claims Adjuster SIU

Investigate and resolve insurance claims as an SIU claims adjuster by conducting internal investigations, setting up statements, scene investigations, and neighborhood canvasses; collaborate with the lead adjuster, vendors and experts to assess vehicle inspections, EUO and investigative steps toward resolution, evaluate liability and subrogation exposures, and provide concise reports to Leadership on denied claims and escalated situations. Present findings and recommendations at the Fraud Committee, maintain clear documentation of all file activity, and coordinate with Underwriting, CAD, and Claims. Requires post-secondary education and at least 3 years of claims handling experience; licenses or certifications such as Private Investigator License, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), OSINT, Fire Investigation, and ICAR courses are preferred or required. Must have strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to work in cross-functional teams, high attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving/negotiation skills.
