Job Summary
Claims Adjuster – Home II to join our field and/or telephone team in Quebec. You’ll evaluate information, insurance wording and damages to determine coverage, assess civil liability with specialists, and negotiate settlements with customers, claimants, lawyers and insurers. You’ll handle field assignments for in-house adjusters, support claims management during high-volume periods, and collaborate with appraisal, underwriting and legal services. The role requires a valid AMF licence (5a/5b), at least one year of home-claims experience (telephone or field) with water and/or fire losses, strong customer service and communication skills, proficiency with computers, a valid driver’s licence, and willingness to travel on short notice. Bilingual English/French is required to service an English-speaking clientele; travel across listed Quebec territories is anticipated.
Required Qualifications
- A valid AMF licence (5a/5b).
- At least one year of experience as a home claims adjuster (telephone or field).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingualism (English/French) with regular service to English-speaking clientele.
- Valid driver’s licence and good driving record.
- Availability for travel on short notice.
- Solid understanding of insurance products.
