Job Summary
Field-based National Catastrophe Property Claims Adjuster responsible for on-site inspections, damage assessments, determining coverage using Xactimate, and managing the full lifecycle of claims (reserving, supplements, and documentation). Travel to catastrophe zones up to 80% with on-site inspections, partner with Special Investigations and Subrogation as needed, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while delivering proactive updates and exceptional customer service. Requires the ability to inspect rooftops using ladders (up to 8/12 pitch) and strong communication and problem-solving skills in high-stress environments.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- State licensing where required
- Xactimate Level 1 certification within 1 year
- Xactimate Level 2 certification within 2 years
- Three to five years of related property claims experience
- Experience in a customer service environment (flexible work schedules and extended hours preferred)
- Commercial claims property experience preferred
