Job Summary
Claims Account Manager II serves as the main point of contact and liaison between ICW Group customers and business units. This role manages and nurtures customer relationships and leads client interactions and communications. Works closely with departments to enable ongoing and future sales and renewals, investigates and resolves inquiries and complaints, mentors junior team members, coordinates with Claims, Underwriting, Premium Audit, and Risk Management as needed, and supports the claims review and reporting processes. The position involves travel up to 30% for client visits and operates in a home-office/work-from-home environment with remote responsibilities within California. Strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation claims, superior communication and presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university required in Insurance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in claims or insurance related area
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Current Driver license required
