Job Summary
Claims Technical Specialist for Equine claims with hybrid work options based in Lexington, KY or Ocala, FL. Responsible for ensuring compliance with claim-handling guidelines, investigating and evaluating claims, gathering and analyzing information, delivering effective resolutions, maintaining documentation, and providing exceptional customer service to external customers and agents. Leads and monitors assignments to experts and outside counsel, participates in special projects, and may perform additional duties as required. Requires knowledge of good faith claims handling, state guidelines related to equine insurance, strong MS Office skills, experience with electronic claim systems, and an adjuster license; college degree preferred and 5+ years of relevant experience in equine, livestock, or farm insurance claims.

- 5+ years in equine, livestock or farm insurance claims
- College degree preferred
